- Drive technical standards, architectural decisions, and best practices across the engineering organization
- Mentor and guide developers across multiple teams on platform usage and best practices
- Improve developer experience through better tooling, documentation, and self-service capabilities
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security through monitoring, observability, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs and translate them into platform capabilities
- Lead technical initiatives that span multiple teams and services
- Write efficient, readable, maintainable, and testable code with comprehensive test coverage
- Review code and provide constructive feedback that elevates the entire team

- Experience with gRPC/Protocol Buffers and designing cross-language APIs
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java/Kotlin, Go, Python, TypeScript) – ability to work across the stack
- Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
- Strong database skills including SQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB with focus on performance optimization
- Experience building developer tools, SDKs, or internal platforms
- Track record of driving technical initiatives and influencing engineering direction
