What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Strategist within our Private Markets line of business located in Paris, France. In this role, you will blend local business development and sales management by closing PM-generated FX and IR opportunities, driving high team standards, and nurturing the ongoing development and progression of the local sales group. You will report directly to the Strategist and regularly collaborate with the wider UK & European Private Market teams.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Coaching – responsible for coaching and developing the cohort of Portfolio Managers. Running sessions and ensuring individuals are progressing.

• Closing – responsible for closing new business opportunities for the Portfolio Managers and ensuring they are winning. Turning Portfolio Managers green.

• Develop – ensure that their personal development is happening – is their technical, sales and industry understanding improving?

• Nurture – be a leader that nurtures the team. Responsible for ensuring the team and each individuals have momentum.

• Define and execute a client acquisition strategy for private equity and investment fund clients in the French market

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects across the Private Capital Markets vertical, from first contact to closing

• Position Corpay as a key player in the French private equity ecosystem, through direct prospecting, events and strategic partnerships

• Fluency in English & French is essential

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to problem-solve

• Strong mathematical skills

• Understanding of FX markets and interest rates (debt and investment instruments) is a plus

• Familiarity with spot and derivative products (forwards, swaps, options) is a plus

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is up to €120,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay (if applicable), will be discussed during the recruitment process.
