BAS Senior Accountant

Caring and Thoughtful | Get Things Done | Work with Purpose A Business Advisory Services (BAS) Senior Accountant organizes and coordinates clients’ tax data for the accurate, timely completion of individual tax returns and simple to moderately complex corporate, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns. This position also involves QuickBooks consulting and training, outsourced accounting, and requires frequent collaboration with other departments and associates. BAS Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepares required tax returns in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leaders.

• Provides technical assistance to clients in all areas of accounting.

• Leads client QuickBooks Training.

• Communicates with engagement leaders and clients regarding open items and other pertinent matters in a timely manner.

• Performs tax return interviews with clients as needed.

• Creates, reconciles and ties out trial balances.

• Reviews basic accounting trial balance.

• Trains and mentors staff on simple accounting and tax returns.

• Proactively manages project timelines and budgets.
