Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role supports day-to-day AP operations, including invoice processing, payment administration, vendor maintenance, reconciliations, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process invoices and credits in a timely and accurate manner.

• Verify invoice information and ensure proper approvals are obtained prior to payment.

• Process vendor payments through ACH, checks, and credit card transactions.

• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox and prioritize incoming requests.

• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor discrepancies.

• Review vendor statements and follow up on outstanding or missing invoices.

• Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor setup documentation, including W-9 forms.

• Maintain accurate accounting records, reports, and supporting documentation.

• Provide responsive customer service to vendors and internal departments.

• Support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
