Join a global, fast-paced environment where risk intelligence helps organizations anticipate disruptions and strengthen supply chain resilience. In this role, you will monitor geopolitical, environmental, operational, and regulatory developments that could affect suppliers, manufacturing facilities, logistics networks, and customer shipments. You will investigate emerging events, validate information across multiple independent sources, and translate complex data into concise, actionable intelligence reports. Working closely with commodity managers and business stakeholders, you will assess potential exposure, communicate risk implications, and support informed decisions on mitigation and escalation. You will also manage incidents throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, timely updates, and reliable source traceability. This fully remote, full-time opportunity is suited to an experienced analytical professional who combines strong research capabilities, business awareness, and a proactive approach to identifying and managing supply chain risks.

Accountabilities

  • Risk Monitoring and Intelligence Gathering: Monitor multiple information sources, including official announcements, port and carrier updates, weather events, geopolitical developments, regulatory changes, internal tools, and other credible channels, to identify potential threats to global supply chain operations.
  • Information Verification and Validation: Cross-check each event using at least two independent sources, reconcile conflicting information, assess source credibility, and document the confidence level of each finding.
  • Supply Chain Risk Assessment: Evaluate the potential impact of identified incidents by analyzing supplier locations, supply chain tiers, affected commodities and parts, manufacturing facilities, and active customer shipments.
  • Incident Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare concise, actionable incident reports with clear headlines, event summaries, business implications, exposure assessments, recommended actions, confidence ratings, and planned follow-up updates.
  • Source Documentation and Traceability: Maintain a reliable evidence trail by recording source links, timestamps, and concise supporting notes. Attach screenshots or archived references when necessary to preserve evidence and facilitate verification.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with commodity managers and relevant business stakeholders to validate findings, obtain approval before publishing alerts when required, and incorporate feedback to improve the relevance and clarity of risk communications.
  • Incident Publication and Change Management: Publish intelligence alerts through established workflows, maintain version control, and record changes whenever new information affects an existing assessment.
  • Incident Lifecycle Management: Track incidents through all stages, including open, monitoring, mitigated, and closed. Maintain regular updates until resolution and monitor related developments that could alter the risk outlook.
  • Continuous Improvement: Refine intelligence reports and monitoring processes based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring that findings remain accurate, relevant, and actionable.
  • Post-Incident Reviews: Conduct brief reviews to capture lessons learned, improve monitoring thresholds, refine escalation criteria, and strengthen future response procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Five to seven years of experience in risk analysis, market intelligence, supply chain risk monitoring, or a related discipline.
  • Risk Management Exposure: Experience with geopolitical risk, operational risk assessment, vendor risk management, or business continuity analysis is preferred.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, manufacturing processes, procurement ecosystems, and supplier networks.
  • Risk Intelligence Expertise: Familiarity with risk intelligence frameworks, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, incident monitoring, and escalation workflows.
  • Analytical and Research Skills: Advanced analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with large datasets and unstructured information, validate findings across multiple sources, identify patterns, and assess potential business impacts.
  • Reporting and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex risk scenarios into clear, concise reports and presentations for business stakeholders.
